Located in the historic City Market, Mercato combines an expressive, stylish, sexy and fun attitude with Chef Jacques Larson’s intriguing blend of Italian regional culinary styles. The restaurant’s two levels are framed by richly-hued Venetian plaster walls and Italian leather covers banquettes and chairs. The sophisticated surroundings include a New York-style bar and open antipasti kitchen. Mercato offers live Jazz music Tuesday through Saturday with happy hour drink and food specials on weeknights.
